NEXT Future Transportation and Globetouch Inc. Announce Partnership

Both companies made the announcement during the Connected & Autonomous Vehicle Conference in Silicon Valley, which brings together industry leaders to explore new business models in the implementation of transportation and mobility technology of the future.

NEXT Future Transportation is developing the worlds first advanced smart transportation and goods movement system based on swarms of modular self-driving vehicles. Globetouch Inc. is a leader in global connectivity services for the connected vehicle and the Internet of Things (IoT) market.

The partnership will combine NEXTs expertise in solutions for public transportation with Globetouchs market leading data connectivity platform technologies to deliver solutions for todays increasingly data rich transportation world.

Together NEXT and Globetouch Inc. are co-innovating around the massive global market opportunity for smart transportation, a market that is forecasted to grow at a CAGR of 24.3 percent from 2015 to 2020. The market is driven by a growing global population, urbanization, climate change and the development of smart mobility.
